VERB TO BE (contracciones)

1.1 Contracciones en afirmativo

En afirmativo sólo hay una forma de contracción del verbo to be.

I am -- I'm
You are -- You're
He is -- He's
She is -- She's
It is -- It's
We are -- We're
You are-- You're
They are -- They're

Presta mucha atención desde ahora a las contracciones y a cómo se forman. En este caso hemos juntado las dos palabras y hemos sustituido una vocal del verbo por un apóstrofe.

En Negativa

It is not: It isn't
He is not : he isn't
She is not: she isn't

WALTZING MATILDA (WIKIPEDIA)

"Waltzing Matilda" es la canción folclórica más conocida de Australia (especialmente en el ámbito internacional) y ha sido propuesta como himno nacional.[1] Para los australianos es su canción más arraigada y a la que tienen más cariño existiendo un museo dedicado a ella en Winton, Queensland.
Fue compuesta en 1895 por Andrew Barton Paterson un poeta nacionalista australiano, también conocido como "Banjo Paterson. Su versión original fue modificada y es esa segunda versión que se hizo familiar.
